(A view of Veere from the harbour)
The town of Veere seemed to be having an Open Day. The streets were busy. The parking lots were full. The cafes buzzing. And there were people everywhere.
The main reason to stop in Veere is the spectacular Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk.
You cannot tell from the photograph on the left, but from where it is taken, there are four strips of land visible, separated by inlets from the sea. On each strip of land, plants are visible and on each water body, sailboats. Use this photo as a starting point for your imagination!
